“It was an inheritance passed down through many generations in these hundred years. Now that power resides within Eren. ”

They all charge towards their death and fight, knowing their chances of survival are minimal. With so much at stake, no wonder it’s such an intense moment. And their plan is 99% successful, as Levi reaches the Beast Titan due to their sacrifices as a distraction.

Due to Levi’s expertise in combat, the fight goes by in the blink of an eye. However, Levi hesitates to end Zeke once and for all, so the Cart Titan takes Zeke away back to Marley alive.

Eren vs. Reiner
- Season 4

First, he must confront Reiner. Their reunion is what fans have been waiting for.
Eren explains to Reiner what lead to his infiltration of Marley. Things get tense, to say the least. Reiner finally admits that everything is his fault, from Eren’s mother’s death to where they are today. Even though Eren seems to understand Reiner’s side, he still feels determined to defeat the enemy that ruined his life. He has no remorse for what he is about to do. He suddenly transforms into his Titan form, ready for war in Liberio.
“As I thought, I am the same as you. I think we were born this way. I keep moving forward until I destroy my enemies.”
– Eren
Eren vs. The War Hammer Titan
- Season 4
- Episodes 6 & 7
Dozens of innocent lives are lost as collateral damage when Eren transforms into his Titan form in Liberio. This battle scene, in particular, draws a parallel to the first episode of Attack on Titan. Just like the countless lives lost in Eren’s Shiganshina District, the civilians of Liberio are subject to the destruction that Titans cause.
Evidently, Eren is so blinded by his rage towards the enemy that he refuses to acknowledge that the pain he’s causing is similar to his own. He fights viciously with the War Hammer Titan, one of his most powerful foes yet. Eren ends up devouring the Warhammer Titan using the Jaw Titan’s powers in a bloody, brutal sequence.
Definitely an intense moment in the Attack on Titan series overall.
“Eren, please… Come home. Do you have any idea what you’ve done?”
– Mikasa
A Major Character Dies

Gabi believes what she does is an act of bravery and fulfillment of justice when she shoots a main character in the chest. No one could see this death coming. The soldiers of the Scout Regiment are livid, especially Jean and Connie. Other members of the regiment then proceed to beat up Gabi and her friend Falco after the event.
“I’m going to kill all of those island devils.”
– Gabi Braun
The End Of Friendship
- Season 4
- Episode 14
Eren becomes increasingly unrecognizable this season, especially in the episode, “Savagery.” He sits down with his friends and Gabi to reveal the truth of his recent actions. Mikasa and Armin want to understand their best friend more than anything during this conversation. However, Eren feels differently.
He shares his admiration for Zeke and puts down Mikasa and Armin, in a shocking turnaround in his beliefs and motives from last season. Previously, Eren would protect his friends above everyone else, but now he hates them. He believes they’re not acting on their own free will because of their Eldian heritage.
Eren punches Armin repeatedly, subsequently ending their friendship and calling Mikasa a “slave.” From this moment on, it’s obvious that Eren’s motives are no longer in his friends’ or Paradis’ best interest.
“You know what I hate the most in the world? People who aren’t free. They’re no more than cattle.”
– Eren
Levi vs. The Beast Titan, Again

He transforms into the Beast Titan and turns Levi’s comrades into Titans after they drink the laced wine. Levi has no choice but to kill his squad to survive. Already numb to the tragedy he’s overcome through the years, Levi is unaffected and defeats Zeke once again.
